Nerdapalooza 2012

     I was one of the very many to attend this years Nerdapalooza. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the term, it's basically a music festival over the course of the weekend in Orlando Fl.  The music is in some way shape or form inspired by who pertaining to video games, comic books, movies, etc. Pretty much any type of entertainment/media you would expect nerds to be into. Featuring acts included NerdCore HipHop groups such as Schaffer the Darklord, DualCore, Mega Ran and Adam WarRock to name a few, as well as musical groups the The Protomen, Metroid Metal, and Random Encounter. This is one of the only music festivals they allow fans to bring in DSLR camera's so you bet your ass I took advantage of the situation to get some awesome indoor shots. I was rollin with my D90 with 50mm 1.5 Nikkor as well as my trusty 18-55 for those wide angle shots. I had to shuttle back and forth from the hotel room to the venue in order to save money on drinks, so needless to say I was in a pretty good mood for the most part. Enough talk though here are the shots :D

Salad Bento Anyone?

When I was young I would overhear stories, the villagers spoke of men disappearing. When they found they're bodies they were like..like butchered. They would call the one who did this "El diablo que hace que los trofeos de los hombres". This would only happen in the hottest of years. El diablo que hace que los trofeos de los hombres means "The demon who makes trophies of men" and this year it grows hot.

Violent dreams

The hydroponic lettuce we get at my job comes in sealed plastic caskets. Its cleaner, do to it being hp, but I still have to wash it to be safe. I keep finding these cute little treefrogs in the stuff and they end up jumping all over the place intil I can catch them to set them free. Its funny becuase my whole train of thought goes from work mode to that of mother trying to protect her child as if it were running into traffic o_O
